Julianna is committed to the following:

Julianna will invest in our children's future

  • Investing in our children’s future
  • Invest an extra $48 million to provide an extra 150 teachers.
  • Guarantee smaller class sizes in grades 1 – 3.
  • Provide 105 more special needs teachers.
  • Invest an extra $45 million to deliver full-time teacher aides for all prep classes.
  • Provide $40 million for safer school crossings.

  • Ensuring graffiti vandals are part of the clean up process.
  • Removing jail as a ‘last resort’ for juvenile offenders.
  • Implement a Hoon Watch Program to assist local residents identify illegal street-racing, dangerous driving and burn-out offenders with the police.

CLEAN, GREEN, SUSTAINABLE HOUSEHOLDS

Achieved by doing the following:

  • Increase solar energy rebates for households, schools, community halls and commercial
    buildings.
  • Reinstate the rainwater tank rebates for homes which were abolished under Labor.
  • Develop genuine alternative energy schemes.
  • Invest an additional $414 million to improve rail travel.
  • Reduce congestion by offering free travel for rail commuters between 6-7 am and 6-7 pm.
